Cambridge Academic is really pleased to have published the latest title from renowned Procurement and Supply Chain expert Ray Carter, who along with IACCM SRM expert Sharon Croome has written an excellent new text, Practical Supplier Selection and Relationship Management.

The focus of the book – the first part of which is written by Carter, the second by Croome – is to address the practical issues around the selection of fit for purpose suppliers and the subsequent management of the relationship with the supplier, from handover to contract close out.

Carter in particular brings years of experience to provide practical guidance on the selection and evaluation of suppliers, vendors and contractors of any resources brought into the organisation. Based on his famous 10Cs Model, this part of the book draws together the various elements of many of the titles Carter has previously contributed to including Practical Procurement, Practical Contract Management and 101 Models of Procurement and Supply Chain Management.

Croome, a Commercial Contract, Procurement & Supplier Relationships Management Specialist who develops, implements and trains on transformational commercial and procurement strategies for delivery into the Public sector, covers the management and development of suppliers, vendors and contractors post award.
