This book is designed to help students develop the various skills required to pass Key Skills Communication Level 1/Adult Literacy Level 1. Each section is divided by curriculum reference and includes an explanation on ‘how to do it’, followed by exercises to consolidate learning. Key Skills/Adult Literacy Level 1 is tested using multiple choice answer sheets. However, the knowledge and skills required to answer these questions can only be developed through practice and application. To gain a full pass at Key Skills Level 1, a portfolio must be produced. All the explanations and exercises in this book support the building of the portfolio.
